Various forms of contributions continue to be received by the Ministry of Health in assisting His Majesty’s Government, especially the Ministry of Health in together addressing and curbing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
The Japan-Brunei Friendship Association donated N95 surgical masks and SARS-Cov2 swab test kits worth $10,000. The donation was handed over by Tadashi Hara, representative of the Japan-Brunei Friendship Association to Awang Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry Of Health. Meanwhile, various cheque donations were also received. $1,000 was received from the staff of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girl’s Arabic Religious Secondary School; $20,600 received from the Prime Minister’s Office; and $50,000 from the Christian Community. The Ministry of Health also received various donations from Jiajia Company, Rezeki Bahirah, Okky Jewellery Sendirian Berhad and Bismi Trading Sendirian Berhad.
