The Phase 3 of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme will commence on Monday, 5th July 2021. The Ministry of Health in its press release informed that Phase 3 are for individuals aged 18 years and above.
Invididuals who wish to get the COVID-19 vaccinations during Phase 3 are required to reserve a slot, especially for individuals who has received invitations to attend the events in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 75th Birthday Celebration this year. To facilitate the COVID-19 vaccine injection process and to avoid congestion at vaccination centres, only individuals who have a slot reservation through the BruHealth app will be allowed to receive the vaccine injection. Walk-ins will only be allowed for senior citizens and special needs individuals.
Reservations for the COVID-19 vaccine injection slots through the BruHealth app will commence on Saturday, 3rd July, at 8 in the evening. The public must ensure their personal information (Identity Card number, telephone and address) in their Bru-HIMS account is updated. Individuals who require assistance to reserve slots through the BruHealth app can contact the Health Advice Line 148 during office hours. Slot reservations made through the Health Advice Line 148 can only be processed within 2 to 3 days after receiving the required information, such as: Full name (similar to the name used in the identification card or passport); Identification card number; Bru-HIMS number; Contact number that can be easily contacted and as listed in the Bru-HIMS account and date and time requested.
For individuals that have medical records in private hospitals or private clinics are required to bring their medical records and record of their medications during the vaccination appointment. The Ministry of Health also reminds the public that they are required to follow the rules and procedures at each vaccination centre to facilitate the process of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
