74 officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF were promoted. The promotion was by the Consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony was held on 11th August morning, at the Officers’ Mess of the Bolkiah Garrison.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence. The ceremony was officiated by Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of The RBAF.
