Religious Performances

Festive stages in the country featured religious performances on 27th July night, held in conjunction with the Royal Birthday Celebration.

The festive stage in Brunei Muara District is filled with religious performances organised by the Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs. Among the activities were Tausyeh, poetry and Hadrah. Present was Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Member of the Legislative Council.

Religious Performances was also held at the Tutong District Festiive Stage. The performances included Qiraat Selawat, Dikir Syarafil Anam and a talk. It was organised by the Department of Co-Curriculum Education, Tutong District branch. Present was Awang Julaihi bin Mohamad/Mohamat, Acting Director of Co-Curriculum Education.

Meanwhile, the Belait District Islamic Studies Department held a Tausyeh Competition at the district’s festive stage. Prizes were handed over by Awang Mohammad Aliyani Bin Ismail, Belait District’s Head Religious Officer.

Whereas in Temburong District, the festive stage was highlighted with a Dikir Syarafil Anam Competition for Muslimah in said district. It was organised by the Nur Nawwarah Group and Temburong Mosque Youths.
