Viral on social media displaying information and photos of a foreign man acting inappropriately towards an underage girl believed to be a primary school student.

In this regard the Royal Brunei Police Force confirmed a report was lodged to the Sengkurong Police Station on the 15th of November 2021. The suspect was arrested to assist in the investigation. Meanwhile, personals from the Women and Child Abuse Criminal Investigation Unit, Royal Brunei Police Force has conduct further investigation. Those with information on the matter are urged to cooperate with the police to assist in the investigation or call the police emergency line 993 or 2459500 extension 490 or 333. The public are also urged not further circulate the information and photos as it might interfere with the investigation process.
