Jerudong: 300 mosque youths participated in the 11th Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony for Mosque Youth Groups Nationwide in conjunction with the Tadarus Al-Qur'an during the month of Ramadhan. Organised by the Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Youth Affairs Division in collaboration with the Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque Takmir Committee, Kampung Jerudong, the ceremony took place at the said mosque on the afternoon of March 11th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was graced by the presence of Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The event also included the reading of Tahlil and Doa Arwah for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim.
