Drug syndicates are threats that are capable of destroying the life of a person, family, and the community. Young people are often targeted through the influence of peers, social media, and persuasion that portrays drug as something that is normal, even though its consequences can lead to addiction, destruction of the future, and various social problems.
According to Radio Television Brunei, this was among the content of a Tazkirah or talk in conjunction with the 235th Special Munajat organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Bureau in conjunction with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026. Joining the Munajat Night was Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Zalani bin Haji Ismail, Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau. The talk was delivered by Awang Mohammad Nasyith bin Superi, Assistant Head of the Da'wah Development Division, Islamic Da'wah Centre. Also joining to enliven the Munajat Night were officers and staff of the Narcotics Control Bureau, congregants from several mosques nationwide, and officers and staff of the Ministry of Religious Affairs as well as individuals.
