Agreement Signing Strengthens Maritime Future for Brunei Darussalam

Bandar seri begawan: The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Warisan Shipping Line and DP World Logistics Malaysia Sendirian Berhad marks a significant step towards enhancing maritime connectivity for Brunei Darussalam and the broader region. This collaboration underscores a mutual commitment to fostering a stronger maritime future, as highlighted by the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications during the ceremony.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, who also serves as the Chairman of the Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam, emphasized the potential for future initiatives and the development of supporting facilities. This partnership is designed to evolve dynamically, ensuring that cooperative efforts remain flexible and responsive to market demands.

The MoU reflects a shared understanding of the current maritime realities and a collective determination to address them with practical solutions. The signing ceremony took place at the Design and Technology Building in Kampung Anggrek Desa, reinforcing the commitment to a collaborative and connected maritime future.
