The participants of the Tutong District Ethnic Culture Festival were feted in an Appreciation and Certificate Presentation ceremony. The ceremony took place yesterday afternoon at the Tutong District Civic Hall Complex.
Certificates were presented by Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer. The festival which was held last September was organized by the Institution of Penghulu Mukim and Village Heads in Tutong District. Its aimed to foster the unity of the residents to be active in organizing cultural activities. At the ceremony, 10 percent of the proceeds collected from the festival was donated to the Tutong District Welfare Fund for Orphans.
