Appreciation Ceremony Marks Commitment to Brunei 2035 Vision

Jerudong: Investment in Early Childhood Care and Education is a long-term investment to achieve the aspirations of Wawasan Brunei 2035, which is to produce highly educated, skilled, and competitive citizens. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports stated this at the Childcare Centre Appreciation Ceremony in conjunction with World Children's Day 2025.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi Mohamad emphasized that the Childcare Centre is not just a temporary care facility, but an incubator for holistic early development. Held for the first time, the ceremony serves as a platform to strengthen collaborative relationships between the government and the private sector in a joint effort to develop a sustainable economic care ecosystem.

The ceremony coincided with the presentation of the Outstanding Childcare Centre Award 2025 to Hanis Montessori, Jerudong Branch. The recipient received a cash prize of BND1,000 and a plaque of appreciation in recognition of the centre's excellence. It was held at a hotel in Jerudong.
