Berakas: The Netball tournament of the ASEAN Schools Games commenced on 22nd November 2025, with an exciting start featuring two matches at the Multipurpose Hall, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the morning match saw Brunei Darussalam, clad in their yellow and black jerseys, achieve a commanding victory over the Philippines with an impressive score of 74-1. This dominant performance set the tone for Brunei’s participation in the tournament.

In the afternoon session, Thailand, wearing blue jerseys, faced a challenging game against Singapore. Despite their efforts, Thailand was defeated with a score of 20-74, showcasing Singapore’s strong performance in the competition.
