Bandar seri begawan: Two local men were sentenced by the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court on four charges under the Excise Order 2006 for possessing contraband. Muhammad Asnawi bin Zaini, aged 27, received a fine of 163,318 Brunei dollars or 40 months imprisonment if the fine is not paid. Muhammad Aiman Shazni bin Sazali, aged 22, was fined 118,650 Brunei dollars or 20 months imprisonment in default.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the contraband seized included Vape, E-cigarettes, vape juice, and various types of cigarettes. Additionally, cash amounting to 4,906 Brunei dollars and a vehicle were confiscated in connection with the case.
