Bir Ali Serves as Key Miqat Location for Pilgrims

Madinah: Bir Ali, also known as Zulhulaifah, remains a crucial stop for pilgrims embarking on their Haj and Umrah journeys before entering the sacred city of Makkah. Located approximately 11 kilometers from Madinah, Bir Ali serves as the miqat, or designated station, where pilgrims don the ihram, the sacred attire, as they prepare to continue their journey to Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Bir Ali is outfitted with a range of facilities designed to ensure the comfort of pilgrims who pause there before commencing their pilgrimage in the Holy Land. These amenities support the spiritual and physical needs of visitors, reflecting the site's significance in the pilgrimage process.
