The Book Bazaar 2022 organised by the Language and Literature Bureau, is one of the initiatives and commitments of the Bureau in empowering the reading and information literacy programme, as well as successfully completing activities for the 6th Brunei December Festival. The launching of the bazaar was held yestreday morning at the Language and Literature Bureau Library, in Tutong District.
The launching was officiated by Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The event coincided with the launching of nine newly published books. Held in conjunction with Language Month Celebration with the concept of traveling or visiting outside the district, it is to greet the community by raising the theme of “Kembara Buku Santuni Masyarakat”. The 5-day bazaar filled with various activities is open to the public from 8 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon, except on Friday, from 9 in the morning until 12 noon and from 2 until 4:30 in the afternoon.
