Jerudong: Makan Ceria Sendirian Berhad organized a breaking of fast event to honor children from the Down Syndrome Association Brunei (ABLE) and the Children's Cancer Foundation (YASKA). The gathering took place at the restaurant in Jerudong during the late afternoon of March 5th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event also featured the presentation of framed artwork created by the children during the previous World Children's Day. These artworks will be displayed at the restaurant as a token of appreciation. The presentation of the artwork ran concurrently with the giving of donations to the children.
