The requirement of proof for offences in the Syariah Criminal Penal Code Order 2013 was among the matters shared during the briefing session on the provisions under the Syariah Criminal Penal Code Order 2013. The briefing held virtually was organised by the Syariah Prosecution Division, Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The briefing was delivered by Dayang Hajah Hadiyati binti Haji Abdul Hadi, Acting Chief Syar’ie Prosecutor. It was participated by representatives from the Internal Security Department and Narcotics Control Bureau, Prime Minister’s Office, and the Department of Immigration and National Registration and the Labour Department, Ministry of Home Affairs. The briefing, among others, aimed to provide an opportunity for the agencies involved to exchange information with the Syar’ie Prosecution Division on the enforcement and implementation of the law.
