Brumalpura Kayak Programme Flag Handover Marks New Adventure for Brunei Participants

Brunei darussalam: Fourteen kayak participants from Brunei Darussalam departed for a neighbouring country on the morning of June 27 to take part in the twenty-one kilometre Brumalpura Kayak Programme. The event is scheduled to begin on June 28, with the route stretching from the Awat-Awat Lawas Waterfront in Sarawak to the Serasa Water Sports Complex.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the flag-off and handover ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, a Member of the Legislative Council, at the Bukit Patoi Temburong Recreational Park Car Park area. The Brumalpura Kayak Programme is a collaborative effort, jointly organised by Pecinta Kayak Brunei and Otai-Otai Kayak Brunei.
