Brunei City Festival Connects Stakeholders and Strengthens Economic Role

Bandar seri begawan: The Brunei City Festival is serving as a vital platform for connecting traders, investors, tourists, the community, government agencies, and the private sector. This event is strengthening Bandar Seri Begawan's position as an urban economic hub in the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA). The 4-day festival was inaugurated at the Jalan Bendahara car park, Bandar Seri Begawan.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the festival was officially opened by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doktor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. The festival includes a range of activities aimed at supporting sustainable, competitive, and people-oriented urban development. The event is expected to unite the community, revitalize the local economy, enhance the image of Bandar Seri Begawan, and promote regional cooperation.

The festival is accessible to the public from 10 in the morning until 11 at night, inviting participation and engagement from various stakeholders throughout its duration.
