Bandar seri begawan: The Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) has issued an update to its BDCB Alert List, urging the public to exercise caution and avoid being misled into believing that certain individuals or entities are licensed, authorized, or regulated by the bank.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the updated list now features Finance Freedom Success, GIC Investment, PS by SH or ‘sweetendeavours.bn’, and XM Trader Brunei Official. The BDCB emphasizes the importance of engaging only with financial institutions that are officially licensed by the bank. It warns against dealing with unlicensed companies or individuals, particularly those promoting financial services with characteristics akin to Get-Rich-Quick or Pyramid Schemes.
The public is reminded that transactions with unlicensed or unregulated entities fall outside the protective scope of BDCB’s regulatory framework.
