Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Religious Affairs in Brunei Darussalam organized a national religious ceremony aimed at praying for the health and well-being of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The event included the reading of Surah Yasin, the Sunat Hajat Prayer, and a Special Doa, all conducted before the Friday Prayer, followed by a Special Sermon. This ceremony took place across all mosques, suraus, and religious halls nationwide, with the main focus at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by key figures including Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The collective prayers were conducted to seek a speedy recovery and sustained health for His Majesty.
