Brunei Polo Team Clinches Bronze at Southeast Asian Games

Bangkok: The son and daughter of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen and Her Royal Highness Princess Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah, joined Brunei Darussalam's polo team in a victorious performance, securing the bronze medal in the Handicap 4 To 6 Goals category. The team triumphed over Indonesia's polo team at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand. The match occurred at Siam Polo Park on the afternoon of December 19th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the National Polo Team achieved a 6-5 victory against the Indonesian Polo team in a closely contested match that spanned four chukkas. His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen contributed to the team's success by scoring a goal in the first chukka. The team's achievement in winning the bronze medal significantly contributed to Brunei's overall medal tally at the 33rd SEA Games.
