Ceremony Marks Crown Prince’s 52nd Birthday at Prime Minister’s Office

Bandar seri begawan: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman attended a ceremony to celebrate His Royal Highness' 52nd Birthday. The event was hosted by the Prime Minister's Office at its building.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony saw the presence of His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam binti Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien. His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness were welcomed by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, the Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara, along with other dignitaries including Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, along with their spouses.

During the celebration, His Royal Highness cut the birthday cake and was presented with a greeting card from the Prime Minister's Office. Additionally, he received Pesambah from 11 government agencies, Higher Education Institutions, and the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association.

Following the ceremony, His Royal Highness, Her Royal Highness, and members of the Royal Family attended a luncheon. The recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Kesyukuran was conducted by Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain@Maidin, Deputy State Mufti, as part of the proceedings.

In celebrating His Royal Highness' 52nd Birthday, the Prime Minister's Office expressed wishes for health, longevity, and prosperity upon His Royal Highness and the Royal Family.
