Maraburong: 10 inmates received the Rigger and Scaffolding Basic Level Certificate under the Technical and Vocational Education Programme. The event was held on the morning of 23rd December at the Prisons Department Training Centre, Maraburong. The course was fully funded by Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam and conducted by Syarikat Megamas Training Sendirian Berhad.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the certificate presentation was officiated by Dayang Nor Hamidah binti Haji Hamidon, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Safety and Welfare at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The course aimed to equip participants with safe technical knowledge and skills that meet industry standards, thus increasing marketability and employment opportunities.
