According to Radio Television Brunei, Brunei Darussalam participated in 9 sports events, including polo, taekwondo, aquatics, sepak takraw, karate, netball, wushu, pencak silat, and weightlifting. Brunei Darussalam secured a total of 1 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze medals. Host Thailand clinched the top position with 66 gold medals, followed by Vietnam with 24 gold, and Indonesia with 20 gold medals.
