Tutong: Two companies have been fined for breaching the Miscellaneous Offences Act, Chapter 30. Syarikat Dayang Damit Dan Rakan-Rakan Sendirian Berhad and Raya Jaya Sendirian Berhad were penalized for causing environmental disturbances in the Tutong District.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Syarikat Dayang Damit Dan Rakan-Rakan Sendirian Berhad was responsible for spilling paint, sand, and soil along Jalan Tutong extending to Kampung Sungai Kelugos. Similarly, Raya Jaya Sendirian Berhad committed the same violation at the Kampung Sungai Kelugos project site.

Both companies have been fined BND2,000 each. They have been granted a period of 7 days to settle the fines. Failure to do so will result in the companies being taken to court.
