Tutong: A company was found guilty of violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021, Chapter 30. The Enforcement Unit, Tutong District Office issued a compound fine of two thousand Brunei Dollars to NCT Sendirian Berhad for dumping and piling rubbish outside the public rubbish disposal in Kampung Penabai, Kuala Tutong. The company is required to settle the compound fine within seven days.

According to Radio Television Brunei, if the company defaults on the payment, it can be brought to court. Upon being found guilty, a fine of not less than BND2,000 may be imposed.
