A BND2,000 compound fine was issued by the Enforcement Unit, Tutong District Office. The company is required to pay the fine within seven days. Failure to do so will lead to court proceedings. According to Radio Television Brunei, the Enforcement Unit in Tutong District Office took action against Syarikat Kontraktor Syahiran after discovering littering violations. The company was penalized under the provisions of the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021, Chapter 30. The Enforcement Unit emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public areas and warned that further violations would result in stricter penalties. The authorities have urged businesses and individuals to comply with regulations to avoid legal consequences.
