The Minister of Health also stated that the Ministry of Health will continue to monitor the trend of infectious diseases in the country.
The Ministry of Health found that there is a slight increase in the number of children admitted to the hospital with fever and flu infection where some also suffer from diarrhoea. In this regard, the public, especially parents or guardians, are advised to ensure that their children eat perfectly cooked food and drink clean water. Make sure that children eat and drink enough water and practice good personal hygiene such as washing their hands frequently and not sharing any spoons, cups and so on. Parents and guardians are to immediately take their children to see a doctor if concerned about their condition.
