The Language and Literature Bureau through the Research, Documentation and Recognition Division organised the Create and Meet Activity: Create a Poem Contest and Meet Southeast Asian Write Award Recipients.
Held in conjunction with the Brunei December Festival and Language Month Celebration 2022, the competition is open through the Language and Literature Bureau’s official instagram @dbpbrunei.
The Create a Poem Contest is open every Thursday with a different theme and only three winners each week. Meanwhile, the ‘Get to know Southeast Asian Write Award recipient’, has three rounds, held every 10 days with three winners for each round. Prizes are in the form of books published by the Language and Literature Bureau.
