Bolkiah garrison: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, along with Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab. Rahaman, attended a High Tea Reception in celebration of his 52nd birthday. The event, organized by the Ministry of Defence, took place at the Officers' Mess, Bolkiah Garrison on the afternoon of February 17th. His Royal Highness' brothers, Prince 'Abdul Malik and 920 Lieutenant Colonel Udara Prince 'Abdul Mateen, were also present.

According to Radio Television Brunei, upon their arrival, the royal guests were welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, along with Datin, and Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Armed Forces, and Datin. A group photo session followed, after which His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness were introduced to personnel from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).

During the reception, His Royal Highness was presented with a video clip and a photobook titled "Sejambak Ristaan Sembilan Belas." He also participated in the ceremonial cutting of the birthday cake and received pesambah from the RBAF. The event concluded with the reading of Doa Kesyukuran by Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mujib bin Haji Japar, Acting Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate, JAMA'AT.
