Crown Prince of Brunei Receives Newly Appointed Envoys at Qashr Al-Meezaan

Bandar seri begawan: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, welcomed the newly appointed Brunei Darussalam Envoys and Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam in an Audience Ceremony held at Qashr Al-Meezaan.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. The event follows the presentation and reception of Letters of Credence by His Majesty at Istana Nurul Iman on 12th May 2026, marking the official commencement of diplomatic duties for the envoys.

The newly appointed Brunei Darussalam Envoys include His Excellency Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Pahlawan Retired Colonel Dato Paduka Haji Abdu'r Rahmani bin Dato Paduka Haji Basir, High Commissioner to Malaysia; His Excellency Mohammad Shafiee bin Haji Kassim, Ambassador to Belgium; His Excellency Haji Khairur Rizal bin Haji Abdul Majid, Ambassador to Timor-Leste; and Her Excellency Dayangku Nooraslena binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sallehuddin, High Commissioner to Australia.

The Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam are His Excellency Abdulla Hamad A.A. Al-Marri, Ambassador of Qatar; His Excellency Saleh A.M. Alshiha, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia; His Excellency Akrapong Chalermnon, Ambassador of Thailand; His Excellency Yip Wei Kiat, High Commissioner of Singapore; and His Excellency Nawaf Fahad Alsaied, Ambassador of Kuwait.
