A local man was sentenced to a $7,000 fine or 7 months imprisonment in default.
47-year old, Sufian Bin Shahdan, was brought before the Kuala Belait Magistrate’s Court for the possession of 8 cartons and 7 packs of cigarettes of various brands. The accused pleaded guilty and was given until 27th February 2023 to settle the fine. All contraband were seized to be destroyed.
