In conjunction with the 28th Civil Service Day, the Public Service Department, Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Religious Affairs held the reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil for His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s late parents, Al- Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit as well as His Majesty’s late son, Al- Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji Abdul ‘ Azim. The ceremony which ran concurrently with the reading of Doa Kesyukuran was broadcast late yesterday afternoon at all television channels and radios.
The reading of Yaasin and Tahlil was led by Muhammad Amaluddin bin Haji Jamaluddin, while the reading of Doa Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran was read by Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran.
