Bandar seri begawan: The 'Budaya Mukun Selendang Sutera Brunei Darussalam' Club, in partnership with the Kampung Jerudong 'B' Consultative Council, handed over donations to victims of house fires. The ceremony was held in Jerudong on the afternoon of June 27th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the donations were presented by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohd Salleh bin Haji Othman, a Member of the Legislative Council. Among the recipients was Awang Abd Rahman bin Haji Kadir, a victim of a house fire that occurred on June 12th in Lambak Kanan Housing. The donations included financial aid and basic necessities, collected from the club, the Kampung Jerudong 'B' Consultative Council, Kampung Lumut DUA Consultative Council, and retired personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
