Brussels: A parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee MP Ambassador Sameh Shoukry engaged in discussions with Director General for External Relations (RELEX) at the European Council Maryem van den Heuvel to explore ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Egypt and the European Union. According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the delegation's visit to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. During the discussions, both parties exchanged views on recent regional developments and current geopolitical challenges. They also addressed the impact of these challenges on regional peace and security and examined efforts to enhance cooperation in tackling shared issues facing both sides.
