Gadong: A Filipino man chose Islam as his new faith and recited the Islamic oath in a conversion ceremony held on the morning of 13th November at Kampung Rimba National Housing Scheme in Gadong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Jose Paulo Yandan Lindo, now known as Awang Muhammad Ihsan Lindo bin Abdullah, participated in the conversion ceremony in the presence of officials from the Da’wah Development Division, Islamic Da’wah Centre. To date, 227 people have embraced Islam in Brunei Darussalam.
