Bandar Seri Begawan: The final of the Selected Surah Memorisation Competition for Primary Schools Nationwide was held at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Institute, 28th May morning. The competition was organised by the Ministry of Education through the Spiritual Activities Division, Co-Curriculum Education Department.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Ra’ess Khair bin Haji Kamaruzaman from Sinaut Primary School and Dayang Aliya Itsna Shafiyah binti Ulul Azmi from Al-Falaah, Sungai Akar were crowned champions of the competition. The event aimed to encourage young students to engage in memorising surahs and to promote spiritual education among primary school students across the nation.
