Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty stressed the importance of supporting efforts aimed at strengthening Arab solidarity and enhancing the role of parliamentary diplomacy in defending Arab interests in various forums, consolidating security and stability, and achieving sustainable development across the region.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the remarks came during the Minister's meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026, with Mohammed al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, as part of consultations on ways to support and develop the framework of joint Arab action in the face of current regional challenges.

During the meeting, Abdelatty expressed appreciation for the role played by the Arab Parliament and its efforts to support Arab positions and strengthen the Arab voice in regional and international forums in a manner that serves the common interests of Arab countries and reflects the aspirations of their peoples.
