Working diligently to help a mother to plant flowers during a childhood and having a creative talent in decorative flowers has proven that a local entrepreneur is capable of being active in the florist business. She became more confident when a friend offers to take over a flower shop that had been established since 1998.
For the past 3 years, Flower Journal has been run by Dayang Hajah Nurul Akmar binti Haji Mohd Jaafar. For her, Flower Journal is more than just selling fresh flowers and artificial flowers inspired by both her parents. Uniquely, this shop is also a ‘one stop shop’, the result of collaboration with various local entrepreneurs’.
In business, there are definitely challenges especially when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and until now the price of both fresh and artificial flowers have also risen sharply.
As a growing enterprise, Flower Journal continues to strive to become a well-known business.
