MANILA: University of Santo Tomas stamped its class over Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-18, 25-17, 25-19, to extend its winning run to four in the V-League Men's Collegiate Challenge at Paco Arena in Manila on Sunday. Edlyn Paul Colinares scored 11 points, including six blocks, as the Golden Spikers moved closer to a semifinal spot. UST at 4-2 trails joint leaders Far Eastern University and De La Salle University, both with 4-1 cards. "I still haven't seen the things I like to see, so there are more work to do," UST head coach Odjie Mamon said after the one hour and 16-minute match. Rookie John Julian Macam and Jay Rack De La Noche contributed 10 points each while Rey Miguel De Vega added nine points, including seven attacks, eight excellent receptions and four digs. UST will end the elimination on Sept. 11 against Ateneo de Manila University at 12 noon. "We will play according to our needs. So our priority is to build our team moving forward," Mamon said. Jan Ruther Abor had 11 points while Frelwin Tacu log chipped in seven points for the Generals, who absorbed their fifth loss against one win.
