Kampung perpindahan serasa: BND8,100 were donated to 12 families in need and 9 orphans from Kampung Perpindahan Serasa during the Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony organised by Hengyi Industries Sendirian Berhad. Present at the event were several high-ranking officials, including Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew Bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony also saw the presence of Dato Seri Paduka Haji Awang Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy, along with Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister for Energy at the Prime Minister's Office. His Excellency Chen Shaochun, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the country, was also in attendance. The event included the breaking of the fast with the donation recipients.
