Shenzhen: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, along with Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, departed Shenzhen after completing an official visit to the People's Republic of China. The visit took place from May 11 to May 15, 2026. Accompanying the royal couple were Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman, and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Faathimah Az-Zahraa' Raihaanul Bolkiah.
According to Radio Television Brunei, before the departure, a Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Awang Hamidon bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Hamid. The ceremony marked the end of the royal visit and was conducted at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport.
Ms. Cao Saixian, Director-General of the Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office, was present at the airport to bid farewell to the royal couple. Also present was Awangku Muhammad Saifuddin bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sallehuddin, the Charg© d' Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam to the People's Republic of China, and his spouse, marking the completion of the official engagements during their stay in China.
