Tutong: The Information Department, through its Tutong District branch, organized an Opening Ceremony for the Informative Society Programme. Launched on the morning of May 28th at the Information Department, the programme aims to support and appreciate the government’s efforts in the nation’s development, particularly in achieving the goals of Wawasan Brunei 2035.
According to Radio Television Brunei, 41 participants, comprising residents from Kampung Tanjong Maya and Lubok Pulau, are taking part in the programme. It is designed to inspire the community to improve their standard of living and increase their knowledge through various capacity-building activities. The initiative reflects a commitment to fostering an informed society that contributes to national progress.
