Jerudong: The Department of Community Development, JAPEM, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, celebrated the International Women's Day 2026 at Dar Al-Intishar, Jerudong Sports Complex, on the afternoon of March 12th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The ceremony featured the launch of the "Executive Summary Book on Research on Women's Development in Brunei Darussalam". The book was subsequently handed over to Members of the Legislative Council; Special Committee on Family, Women and Children's Institutions; National Council on Social Issues; and the Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies. The publication is also made available to the public in digital form on the official website of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
