Brunei darussalam: The National Level Isra’ Mi’raj Celebration 2026 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 27 Rejab 1447, which corresponds to 17th January 2026. The event will be held at the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre in Berakas, commencing at 9 in the morning. The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Sembahyang Teras Modal Insan Cemerlang’. The Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, and Progresif Sendirian Berhad are collaborating to organize this significant event. To ensure a seamless execution, a full rehearsal was conducted on the morning of 15th January.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the rehearsal saw the presence of key dignitaries, including Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs, who is also the Chairman of the National Level, Major Islamic Events Celebration 1447 Hijrah Executive Committee. Also in attendance were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, the Minister of Health, and Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.
