Kampung Keriam Hosts Tahlil Ceremony for Indonesian Undergraduates

Kampung keriam: The Kampung Keriam Consultative Council recently hosted a Tahlil and breaking of the fast ceremony for 30 undergraduates from Universitas Darussalam, UNIDA, Gontor, Republic of Indonesia. These students are currently in the country as part of the International Community Service Programme. The event took place at the residence of the Village Head in Kampung Keriam, Tutong District, on the afternoon of March 4th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer. The primary aim of the event was to offer the UNIDA students an opportunity to experience the lifestyle and practices of the Kampung Keriam community during the holy month of Ramadhan.
