Kampung mentiri: The nightly tadarus ceremonies at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque culminated in a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony. The event marked the conclusion of a series of gatherings where participants engaged in the recitation and reflection of the Qur'an during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, who serves as the Rector of the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA. The occasion underscored the importance of embracing the teachings of the Qur'an among the congregants and the wider community during this spiritually significant time.
