Bandar seri begawan: 218 officers and staff of the Ministry of Home Affairs and its departments were honored with the Long Service Medal, PKL, during the Brunei Darussalam State Honorary Medals Presentation Ceremony. This event was part of the celebrations for His Majesty's 79th Birthday and was held at a restaurant in the capital.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. The PKL medal serves as a recognition and appreciation for government officers and staff who have demonstrated excellent service and dedication over a specified period.
