Long Service Medal Ceremony Honors Over 240 Officers and Staff

Bandar seri begawan: In a ceremony held to coincide with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 79th Birthday Celebration, more than 240 officers and staff members from the Prime Minister's Office and its affiliated departments were recognized for their long-standing service. The Long Service Medal, known as the PKL, was presented to those who have dedicated over 20 years of service to the government. The event took place on the afternoon of May 16 at the Prime Minister's Office.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the presentation ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, alongside Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Hj Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The awarding of the Long Service Medal is intended to inspire recipients to continue their dedication to providing excellent service in their respective roles.
