Bandar seri begawan: A delegation from Saudi Arabia, led by His Excellency Lieutenant General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Yahya, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for the Makkah Route Initiative and Advisor to the Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia, was honored at a luncheon hosted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The event, which took place at The Empire Brunei, was attended by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the luncheon underscored the appreciation and respect of the Government of Brunei Darussalam towards the Saudi delegation for co-hosting the Inauguration Ceremony of the Implementation of the Makkah Route Initiative. The event also highlighted the strengthening of cooperative relations between Brunei and Saudi Arabia, focusing on the management and welfare of Brunei's intending haj pilgrims.
